What is OurPride?
Part encyclopedia, part colourful magazine, part invitation to belong. We connect histories, achievements, places, culture, learning and the people creating new chapters.
Everyone belongs in the picture
Zimbabwe has many language communities, traditions and experiences. No single language, ethnicity, region, generation or location gets to define who belongs. English is our initial common interface; community-reviewed multilingual publishing is a goal.
Beyond famous names
We want to remember everyday Zimbabweans too: teachers, builders, community organisers, health workers, researchers and people whose contributions rarely reach a headline.
A living resource, not a finished archive
Our launch collection is intentionally small and sourced. We will expand through research, documented contributions, corrections and community feedback—not by inventing profiles to fill space.
