Mutarazi Falls, also spelled Mtarazi Falls, lies in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, near Nyanga National Park. Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority describes it as the country's highest waterfall, with a drop of about 762 metres.

The waterfall descends from the escarpment towards the Honde Valley, in a protected landscape of mountains, rivers and forests. The Zimbabwe Field Guide documents the viewpoint and the surrounding Mutarazi Falls National Park.

The falls are not a 'first' invented or created after independence. A 1980–2026 history can instead track changes to conservation, access, local tourism enterprises, cultural knowledge and infrastructure, once dated sources have been found.

The place should be documented alongside the local communities, guides and conservation workers who know the landscape, not only from the perspective of visitors.
