FIRST Global's official 2025 country page features Team Zimbabwe, whose members describe different levels of hearing loss or deafness and their determination to represent Zimbabwe in robotics.

The team describes practising precise robot movements and using collaboration to manage the challenges of a competitive international environment. Their published words put the young engineers' own agency at the centre.

Participation at an international robotics competition is an achievement worth reporting, but an official team profile is not evidence that the team won an international medal. We will add verified awards only if organisers publish results.

International inclusion means celebrating teams that represent Zimbabwe, even when they do not finish first, alongside the teachers, sign-language interpreters, mentors and supporters who made participation possible.
