Khami Ruins National Monument, near Bulawayo, is a UNESCO World Heritage site associated with a major centre that developed after Great Zimbabwe.

Its stone platforms and walling offer important evidence of Zimbabwe’s regional histories. The two sites are related in broad history but deserve individual interpretation rather than being treated as interchangeable.
