Zimbabwe's Sports and Recreation Commission reported that Harare topped Block 1, followed by Mashonaland East and Manicaland. The national youth programme included events across sporting disciplines, not simply the popular football and cricket leagues.
The medal ranking refers specifically to Block 1; it is not a blanket statement that one province won every category of the whole 2026 Games. Separate Paralympic standings were also published.
A deeper archive should list verified sport-by-sport winners, medal ceremonies, local clubs and provinces. It can give a former school athlete a page that is historically accurate without inventing a global title.
