A September 2024 fire in Bindura drew people to the scene. A July 2025 report by The Herald identified Inasem Chitutu among those who responded when he heard cries from inside a house.

The report describes his efforts to help two children escape and the later national recognition of the rescue. Because details of the situation are drawn from a named newspaper account, they are attributed to the reporter rather than presented as something OurPride witnessed.

The memory worth preserving is of someone noticing a neighbour in danger and acting. OurPride does not need to reproduce any frightened child's private details or photographs to honour that contribution.

Unsafe rescue situations require professional emergency responders wherever possible; a true story of courage is not an instruction to enter a burning building.
