Zimbabwe’s constitution recognises sixteen languages. Recognition does not mean that all have equal online representation.
OurPride begins in English for broad access, while inviting accurate community-led contributions and translations. Every language deserves to be described by people who know it.
We will not automatically translate sacred, personal or contested material without review, nor treat a word from one language as representative of everyone.
