Murray Pole Ndlovu was a Zimbabwe men's national volleyball captain before building a career in Japan. In 2021, Zimbabwean sports newspaper NewsDay reported that he had been appointed head coach of Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler for the 2021–22 Japanese professional season.

Ndlovu described learning volleyball in Cranborne, Harare, and his journey from player to coach. In a 2025 interview with African Times, he discussed his role on the coaching staff of Okayama Seagulls and the training infrastructure available in Japanese volleyball.

His story is also about the teachers, clubs and coaches who made participation possible. A community school arranged travel to tournaments, according to his interview. OurPride wants to document those teams and mentors as well as the international headline.

An appointment made in 2021 is a documented milestone, not proof of a current position in 2026. The professional history can be expanded with club-season records and Ndlovu's confirmation.
