On 19 July 2026, Sikandar Raza played his 314th international match for Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. The ICC reported the next day that he had moved past Hamilton Masakadza's previous total of 313 and become Zimbabwe's most-capped international cricketer.

Raza had represented Zimbabwe across Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals since 2013. The published total is a dated milestone, not an assertion that his career appearance count stopped at 314.

The ICC's July 2026 leadership announcement listed Raza as Zimbabwe's T20 International captain. OurPride should show how teammates, coaches and youth cricket programmes contribute to the national side's achievements.
