From the editor’s desk
September's retrospective celebrates the Zimbabweans working on ideas before anyone knows whether a prototype will become a business. There are university robotics teams, national school competitions, a biodegradable-plastics experiment and students whose scientific curiosity can open doors. We also acknowledge the older medical and telecommunications breakthroughs that created technical career paths. No prototype here is automatically declared commercially proven, and a Zimbabwe national prize is not relabelled a world title. We want teachers, mentors, lab technicians and contributors to receive credit, with special care around minors' details and publication permissions.
