In June 2026, international volleyball governing body FIVB reported that Zimbabwe's Tracy Njanji had been named Most Valuable Player and Best Outside Hitter at the CAVB Zone VI Nations Championships in Harare.

The FIVB also named Zimbabwean players Nyengeterai Guyo as Best Opposite, Noreen Manhai as Best Middle Blocker and Trish Rudairo Gadza as Best Libero. Zambia won the women's final, but Zimbabwe's individual performances were recognised across multiple positions.
